National sexual reproductive health and rights strategic plan: 2014-2018

The Swaziland SRH strategy seeks to address elen strategic focus areas in order to attain the National SRH Goal which is to "guide establishment of an evidence-based framework for the implementation of a well-coordinated and integrated sexual and reproductive health and rights programme in order to attain the highest level of health and well-being for all people of Swaziland."

In line with the National SRH Policy, the Natioanl SRH Strategy shall guide the implementation of SRH interventions that are aimed at addressing the SRH needs of the population, particularly gaps and weaknesses identified in the SRH Situational Analysis (2011) and the Midterm Review of the Health Sector Strategic Plan (HSSP) focusing on the following strategic areas:

Maternal, Neonatal and child health (MNCH)

·         

Adolescent, sexual and reproductive health (ASRH)

·         

Family Planning (FP)

·         

Abortion and post abortion care (PAC)

·         

STI, TB, HIV and AIDS

·         

Infertility

·         

Cancers of the Reproductive System

·         

Gender, SRH and GBV

·         

Sexual Dysfunction

·         

Sexual and Reproductive Health and aging

 

·         

Community involvement and participation
