Standards for Quality Service Delivery to Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Swaziland

2012
Author:
Swaziland Government

The Quality Service Standards (QSS) was a result of a team effort by various stakeholders who work tirelessly to put it all together to ensure that there are quality service provisions for children in the country.

In an effort to comply with regional development, Swaziland has developed her own Quality Service Standards. The Standards are aimed at providing quality measures that will also guide appropriate intervention aimed for and to protect vulnerable children.

The strategic guidance presented in the children’s policy adopted in June 2009 and the National Plan of Action (NPA 2011-2015) demonstrated government and development partners’ commitment to the well-being of children. The QSS are presented in the following areas: education, support, health, child protection and food nutrition.
