    The 51-year-old HIV positive rape suspect has been granted bail by the High Court.

    The man was arrested for allegedly raping an ll-year-old minor. The Crown was opposing his bail application.

    Bristol-Meyers-Squibb Foundation has sponsored a workshop for non governmental organisations (NGOs) dealing with HIV and AIDS issues.

    Representatives from local NGOs and community-based organisations are currently attending training at the Institute of Development Management (IDM) in Matsapha.

    Minister of Housing and Urban Development Lindiwe Dlamini made a special mention of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation when she officially opened a E1.9 million Nkwalini Community Health and Social Centre on Monday.

    The minister commended the Gates family, who are patrons of the African Poverty Alleviation Programme (AUPAP), for providing funds towards the construction of the centre through the Sister Cities International (SCI).
